2019 Spring Racing Lunch Results
We are delighted to announce that our 2019 Spring Racing Lunch raised $300,000 - that day taking us to over $985,000 in 2019 with donations still coming in!!
This incredible result is no doubt driven but our Supporters’ belief and confidence in the extraordinary work being done by the team at Ruben: nearly 3,000 kids being educated (and fed!) in a quality school environment, hundreds of people per day receiving primary healthcare at the clinic, more than 1,000 babies born in the new birthing unit, an FM radio station providing a voice for the people of the slum, a school band so good it was chosen to represent Kenya at an international event… the list goes on!
The MCC Members’ Dining Room was full of our Members, Sponsors and other guests all there to hear from our excellent MC Leon Wiegard and guest speakers Greg Miles and Richard Keddie.
