Since 2001, The 500 Supporters' Group has financially supported and assisted the Christian Brothers complete health and education projects in Africa.

Kenya, Brother Beausang Catholic Education Centre - BBCEC

This Catholic coeducational not-for-profit day school serves the needs of young men and women from the Embul-bul area in Nairobi Kenya. Previously the old school in Embul-bul was comprised of tin shed classrooms and now provides excellent service and care to its community. Funds from our Supporters helped enable the construction of this school, providing opportunity and hope to the poorest members of the Embul-bul community.

Tanzania, Edmund Rice Sinon Secondary School - Sinon

Lack of secondary school facilities in Tanzania brought Br Frank O'Shea to support the poorest youth in Erusha and construct a secondary school in Arusha, Tanzania. Br Frank's vision is now a reality thanks to the generous donations of our Supporters, where education up to the equivalent of year 11 & 12 is provided for over 1,000 students enrolled at the Edmund Rice Sinon Secondary School.

Tanzania, Student Hostel

Funds from our Supporters have helped the Christian Brothers construct a simple hostel for Maasi students, who would otherwise have to travel for hours on foot to attend school each day.
